Claim Your Cash LA is a collaborative of the County of Los Angeles, Economic Security Project, and Koreatown Youth and Community Center to educate working Angelenos about the tax credits they are eligible for such as the Federal and State of California Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit. 

This year, the Federal EITC is worth up to $8,046. The amount of the credit depends onthe number of children and the amount of income earned last year.

BENEFITS

CalEITC

Taxpayers with income up to $32,900 may benefit from a cash back of up to $3,756 from the California EITC. The amount of the credit is higher for taxpayers with childen.

Young Child

Tax Credit

Taxpayers with children 0 to 5 and income up to $32,900 may benefit from a cash back of $1,189 through the State of California Young Child Tax Credit.

Foster Youth
Tax Credit

Taxpayers between the ages of18–25 years old, were in CA foster care at age 13 or older, and qualify for the CalEITC may also claim $1,189 through the Foster Youth Tax Credit.
